'The dragons of Covamere had kept herds down here in the golden times, herds of tall, slender zirafe. These elegant charmed creatures, their limbs impossibly flimsy, yet braced by the gentle magic which had filled their veins, had wandered among the trees...' (Dragoncharm). I had spilled paint on the paper, and decided to work with the resulting design. I meant for the coloring to be fantastical, but it just seems gaudy. (Sorry about the bad scan).

I really like the tree and the colors in your picture are very pleasing, too. The Zirafe, looks a little unbelievable, I know he is a fantasy creature, but if you were to work on the legs a little (to actually look realistic/proportionate) it would make your picture better. Anatomy is really hard to do - I know. Very neat idea, though, for a creature 2

:-) Michelle Smith replies: "Well, the creature was described as having delicate, maybe flimsy, legs, and I wanted that to show through. You may be right about the front limbs, they look akward... is that spelled right?"

By the way....Great Job with water colors, those can be most tricky!(previous commentator)

:-) Michelle Smith replies: "Yes, watercolors are evil. I messed up a little, but oh well. I used water-color pencils a little bit, but they're not much better. Thank ye kindly!"

You spilled paint and this happened?!? Wow! lol, anyhoo, the tree is wonderful, the colors are great and I think the fron end fits well, it's the back that doesn't look right to me... to small, perhaps... just not quite right. Oh well, it's lovely.

:-) Michelle Smith replies: "You're right, the trees are too small, too far away... Thanx for the comment!(never doubt the power of paint blotches!)"

OOh i like purpley-stuff. i really like the whole idea of the animal and you made it look really cool. The rear end is the best (besides the purple). and of course - the colors rock!
