I’m busy working on drawings for my portfolio and other tasks nowadays, but I enjoy it very much. I have a picture on the way as well; it’s still waiting for a moderator to accept it.
I hope you’re doing well! "
| 12 Feb 2011 | Michael andrew koutek | Loading...that’s great! I’ve got a new in if your interested. But yeah I’m pretty good.. getting in to my work a little bit more haha Michelle Tolo replies: "I had a look around in your gallery now, and it’s great to see that you aren’t running out of ideas ^^ (PS: It would be easier to find your newest pieces if you put a link to them in your profile or something) " | |
| 14 Feb 2011 | Tabitha Blackwolf | Loading...Hi Michelle!! I love all of your art, and I can’t wait for new pieces because I commented on all of them already, and I’m fairly new. You are also my favourite artists here in Elfwood! Michelle Tolo replies: "Thank you very much, Tabi! It is very kind of you to say that, and I’m amazed by your effort in writing comments. I think I’ve managed to reply to all of them now, after quite some time
I tend to upload new pictures every month or so, depending on how much time I have to draw. I look forward to see your work as well! "
| 16 Feb 2011 | Tabitha Blackwolf | Loading...Just wondering. . .Do you draw from your heart or look at something? Ususally I draw with looking at something of mine’s or a trading card, or a picture off the Internet and they turn out very nice. Only one drawing I did was of my character Seralynne, drawn from my heart, and I used a technique my art teacher taught me recently, and it turned out very well. I will post it as soon as I can!! I have commented on everything of yours, the last one I did today, the one with the army of centaurs. . . Michelle Tolo replies: "Thank you once again for your kind words, Tabitha, it is very sweet of you. It is a little hard for me to keep up with everything you write though, so it would be easier for me if you tried to comment less (you don’t have to respond to everything I say, I just reply to all of my comments so that it is easier for me to tell new comments from old ones )
About my artwork: I pretty much always draw from heart, unless I draw portraits of friends or other existing people. Sometimes, when drawing anatomy for instance, I take a picture of my hand to use as reference, or try to google pictures of people holding an arm in a special position etc. I should get better at using references, but I just find it sort of boring. Also, it is hard to find the exact kind of picture I’m looking for, and I’m a little lazy
I look forward to see your pictures! But you may be a little too young to publish anything at Elfwood, though. I think the age limit is 13 years, so you may want to look into that before posting. "

I sometimes take paid commissions, if I have the time and commitment to do so. You can contact me on michelle.tolo@hotmail.com if you are interested. I am quite busy nowadays, but I’m trying my best to get as much as possible done."
| 6 May 2012 | Paul Cerar | Loading...I just finished reading the latest Stephen King novel, "The Wind Through the Keyhole." There are Dragons in the story! | |
| 15 May 2012 | Paul Cerar | Loading...I rescued a baby dragon this morning! He must have fallen out of his nest while his wings were still to weak to carry him. He was sitting on the black pavement of a laneway, and I was afraid the heat would kill him, but I did not want to touch him, for fear his parents would shun him if I put my scent on him, so with the tip of my boot, I gently nudged him, and made him hop under the shade of a tree.
Of course, an average Human, without my advanced perceptions, would have mistaken the Dragon for a fledgeling bird.
