It is something about this hot-tempered little mutant that really fascinates me, but I don't really know what it is. Maybe it's the personality that switches between outrageous animal and caring buddy, or maybe it's the fact that he isn't like your average superhero. No matter what, after watching the Wolverine: Origins movie, as well as reading the comic book featuring his early life, I find him even more interesting.

This picture is not based on Hugh Jackman's role as Wolverine (even if he did a great performance), instead I tried to draw him more like in the comic books. I didn't really use any references other than desperately turn the pages in the comic book in an attempt to find a similar pose. Of course that didn't exist (I never find what I'm looking for -_-), so the muscles I drew is simply patched together by all the different muscles I could find. This means that anatomical errors are flooding this poor man's body, but I don't think there's anything too serious...

Average pencils (2H-2B), spent around 10+ hours. Wolverine belongs to Marvel.

Another masterpiece. Excellent detail and lighting as always. Love the robots, too.

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "Thanks! When I made the sketch for this drawing, I wasn’t sure what he was fighting. I was thinking of a bunch of monster bats, but I ended up drawing robots instead 1."

Wow! This is a really great picture! Very good composition and sens of action in it! And many nice details and shadings! Congrats on a well deserved MC! 1

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "Thank you very much, Marika! I was quite shocked when I found this picture on the front page, hehe 2."

Your artwork is amazing! you should really think about becoming a comic book artists- if you do tell me which comic book you are doing and i’ll definitely buy one!1

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "Wow, thanks a lot! Haha, I think I have a long way to go before I can compare myself with any of the great, professional comic book artists. I’ll probably go for a scientific career anyway. But is sounds very fun to draw comics, and it’s good to know I’d have at least one reader 12. "

So you’re going into science? What field? 2

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "I’ve been thinking about robot engineering, actually. That way I can combine science with something creative 2. Though of course, most robots that are made today are boring industrial ones... But I will change that! I may have watched a little too much science-fiction, but I am eager to see I-robots walk around in the streets... 7"

That’s so awesome! Its people like you that keep the world moving forward! 1
ps. Just don’t make them too smart!!LOL!!2

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "And here I was thinking about making an army of supersmart, armored robots with a touch of personality and humor, that should take over the world... Guess I’ll have to come up with something else then. Like a massive, robotic dragon that can light your candles!"

Ok as scary as that sounds... That’s flippen awesome!!!!
P.s. I compared your artwork to some of my comic books i gotta tell ya your art work is even better than theirs, and they’ve been in that business for years! YOU’re Amazing!!!1

:-) Michelle Tolo replies: "Anything involving robots and dragons is awesome - it’s a physical law.
And I must say I am deeply honored by your words, it is quite a special feeling to be told I can compare to artists I’ve looked up to all my life. Thank you so much for telling me your opinion, I don’t really know what else to say - I’m kind of speechless! 11"
