SciFi and Fantasy Art Vision by J.R. Moody


	Picture number 2 in the group of four. The kanji is 'Maboroshii', which means 'Vision'. This one is for Stephanie, and the idea came to me as sort of a vision, actually. It was just a brief image in my mind, but I liked it, so I used it. Primas again.

26 Jul 2005	Daphne 'Kaiya' Deng	Loading... first comment dance =D Great pic! But doesn't the kanji means illusion? I don't know nihongo but I can read chinese so...yah... ^^;; J.R. Moody replies: "Well, I think the kanji has the same general idea in both Chinese and Japanese. By vision, I don't mean the aspect of sight.. I mean "a vision", such as one that one might see in a delusional manner, or as a brief flash of image. "The woman came to him in a vision". That kind. So, I guess yeah, illusion also counts."

I love this, especially the girl, she has a temptress way about her, I love all the items around in this drawing the key and lock....hmm some mystery I soppose? I love it keep it up!! J.R. Moody replies: "Nope! No mystery. I was playing Kingdom Hearts as I designed the picture, so the keyhole snuck its way in there. I wanted the random girl with the checkered/striped dress to have her arm raised, and I figured that a key would make sense to make the picture flow. Also to make some connections. Thanks so much for the comment!"

Love your work, hope to see more of it up soon. J.R. Moody replies: "Well thank you VERY much! That means a lot to me that you found so much in the picture. I actually AM working on more pictures to put up. The freakin' moderation takes so long to get through that I want to have a good number of them ready before I upload. "
