Also I was wondering, how do you make the glowing effect like you do on the fairy wings and the rat...things wisckers? Its a very neat effect. Mike J Marsden replies: "lol yeah their rats....see this is why good photo reference is good....... says to self "never would have asked if I had, had good reference "..... lol oh well what’s done is done Well quick explanation I painted this orginally in acrylic then imported it into photoshop and touched it up a lot... I created the glowing effect by painting the whiskers and wings with solid lines. then I duplicated the layer twice so I had 3 layers of the whiskers and wings. then I went to filters and gaussien blur,,, I changed the top layer to 150 I think then changed the layer of whiskers under that to 75 I think .... causing the blur.... very simple...... and it looks good with a little practice.... oh make sure to have your saturation on whatever your doing high and bright so it looks like a glow..... thanks for commenting by the way hugs "
