Hello Mike, I'd like to invite you to join the Garden hub. It's an art community project, which basically consists of a glorified link page of sorts and serves to take up the slack when Elfwood goes down or is temporarily unusable due to administrative action. Most of us miss e-mail or homepage addresses of friends when they can't go to the Elfwood bio's. The Garden could be a good place to find them then! Please ask all your friends to join too! The site is new and we have a slowly growing editorial staff who will be overseeing administrative decisions, so it won't be a singular project but rather a coordinated effort. I really enjoy all of your art. The nastier the better is my motto. I've always had a spot in my heart for the creepies and the crawlies, and you put them to paper in such a lovable way. Have you by any chance illustrated any childrens books or written any? I'd love the chance to see them if you did! Keep up the great imagination and bla blah bla...hehee

You really should do work for a chilrens book or even a chilrens movie! This is really great stuff!

It amazes me, Mike, that I have yet to see your work. I just stumbled on it this morning, and I have to extend my most sincere compliments. Your style is alluring and defined, distinct and very unique. Keep up the great work!

There is a very very special atmosphere all over your gallery, i said in a comment on When Mouse says No... that i would reproach your darkness, but in fact, by seeing more of your drawings, i finally realized it was a part of your style, and it's simply wonderful. You should draw book covers, or illustrate children fairytales, it would be so great !

Mike sorry I didn't get to know you a little better at school.Thanks for at least opening the door and saying good morning to me. We were the early birds at school.When I read your story at school, it broke my heart, I had to go to your Memorial service. You were a remarkable artist I wish I could have seen more!Your family must be proud. MAY YOU Rest IN PEACE AND God bless you family.

I wanted to thank all who have made all these wonderful comments about his art work. Mike died 8/9/04 and his artwork and his wonderful imagination will be missed. I'm sorry that he did not do more art work and post it before he died. He will be missed
