Mike 'A.D.' Grossman

Mike is believed to be mentaly off center and a lot of times it shows in his artwork!

 

 

I was born in New York City in 1959, to two horrified parents who where expecting a girl and quickly had to come up with a boy's name. A few years later two more children followed, again both where to be girls, the fates have a way of screwing up plans. Eventually I grew, went to school, got a job and married. After 18 years of marriage I have one daughter, one wife, one cat and one headache. I have always enjoyed fantasy and sci-fi in one form or another. I also enjoy murder mysteries, cooking and 'off-center' movies. As for my art I use a variety of techiques and mediums to get the effects of looks I am after. I have been inspired by everything from reading, museums to movies. I may see a small item in a film and lock onto it or read a passage in a book and my mind tries to imagine the thing. I get fustrated and I am my own worst critic and may wind up doing work more then once. I hope you enjoy my work when it is posted.
