Tag As FavoriteComment		Just finished him today!(7/11/00) I drew the body on Sunday, and the tree today. He's already one of my favorites. I keep seeing drawings of faeries, or something like them, in trees, part of trees... and thought, 'What a great idea! But it could be better!' This is kind of what I had in mind.. but still, I'd like to take another stab or two at it... the idea fascinates me so. This guy could be someone who takes care of hurt birds, or maybe eats birds.. I dunno.

He looks like the kinda guy that sees things come and go. The guy that says little, but takes in everything. Such a well of emotion is rare in a picture.

This is a great depiction of a forest spirit! I also love to draw nature spirits and faeries. I love the foliage and wood protruding from the creature's back.

have you ever seen a movie called little otik by jan svankmajer? This guy reminds me of the character from that movie.

I really like the soft lines you've used here and in some of your other drawrings. I have been using hard lines for too long and think that I should try to get back to this "feel." I love it when you find something to inspire you here. It makes going through all the 'rough' in elfwood worth it.
