"Archangel Uriel" by Michael E. Waters

This depicts an image of Archangel Uriel (Phanuel). However, no one seems to be able to capture the wings correctly on many of the angels, considering the angel rank of Seraphim have 6 pairs of wings, such as that of Archangel Raphael, although he is classified as a Cherubim, he retains the 6 wings. Uriel is the same way, although i have found no specific classification for Uriel, he has powers of both the Seraph and Cherubs. All in all, great work, i love his flaming sword. I wonder if it is the Tree of Life in the background, and if that was so, than it would appear that there is a dark sense of humor, considering the tree has no leaves... anyways enough of my rambling, I love your work on angels.

FANTASTIC artwork Michael!!! The wings are a bit much, and the sword's not on fire enough, but yes, an accurate portrait from the first-world age (before Lucifer sat on God's throne and, well, here we are in flesh...). Write me, we'll talk.

My father is a writer and one of his books is based around Bible stories from the angel’s point of view, the main character being Oriel, or Uriel. He’s angels are considerable less heraldic than yours though, lol. I love how you draw the wings

The only thing I would say is that Uriel was the ruler of primordial earth, so if you wanna go that far back, the flame in the hand is a bit out of place... but other than that, good picture
