I looove this one! Im named after archangel raphael^_^ Well sorta my perants named me raphael first but changed it to raphaleta insted bucause its more femenin! I love this pic though its sooo good. your pics are some of my fav on this sight. Hey could you draw more of raphael theres only one pleeeeaaassseee? I'd really like it if you did^_^

Very nice..but Raphel was/is only an angel, not an archangel

This is the best picture I've ever seen of Archangel Raphael. He looks so wise and strong, which is 100% fitting for the patron saint healing. I also prefer the hooded pictures of Raphael b/c I feel it fits his other patronage of long journeys and travelers.

It was a couple of years ago that we last emailed each other. At that time, I was in awe of your work. You had painted Michael, Uriel, and Gabriel, three of the four angels that are associated with the elements of the earth.

It was and still is very important to me that my spiritual work include all four angels but, at the time, you were missing Raphael. You said that you were not sure when you would paint him and you could only do so if you were inspired.

I just can't put into words how happy I am that the inspiration you needed was bestowed upon you. Now, the four protectors have found a home in my heart and are share my spiritual time.

I am also astonished as to the colors you selected for the backgrounds of each angel. The underlining theme is so accurate. Uriel is surrounding by green, which is the color for earth. Michael is surrounding by red, which is the color for fire. Gabriel's underlining colors blend mainly with yellow, which is the color of wind. And, your latest edition, Raphael, is bathed in blue, which is the color of water. Each color is the right and appropriate element for each angel, which in some texts, is part of their protection realm.

"Thank you" is and will never be enough. You are blessed. So I just have one last thing to say. Stay true to yourself and the Divine. In this, you will always walk the path of love.

Wow, there’s been a lot of Angel debates going on. to be honest I don’t think we’d be able to describe the relations and status’ of angels in human terms. But I love your pictures, it’s good to see someone exploring this sort of thing
