| 9 Nov 2004 |  Amanda M. Sutherland | Loading... Just adding my own two cents to the 'silver and vampires' debate. Silver is, in alchemy, considered to be a pure substance. As such, it negates all evil influences.
There are some legends which include silver as a bane to vampires. It is not common, but then again neither are some of the other legends such as vampires being obsessive compulsive.
Besides, vampires aren't real. The stories are only stories. Write your own stories, create your own legends, devise your own myths.

Oh, by the way, splattering everyone with blood is a BAD idea according to some myths, because vampire blood can cause madness if it touches you. That could be a spell ingredient!
And, yes, according to every tradition I've read: werewolves are the only monsters that are allergic to silver, vampires are not. So it really irks me that all these new movies and stuff have vampires allergic to silver too! But then, I'm a purist, and all the monsters D&D has made up drive me nuts. | |

You have a designing mind like kit rae. Your able to intertwine all of these pieces of the weapon to make it connect well together. this is true fantasy coming to life in an array of color and shades. fantastic. | |
