SciFi and Fantasy Art Haplo by Guillaume Mirey

This is my representation of Haplo, the hero of the 'Death Gate Cycle' by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman I recommend you to read.

I made this pic for a friend :) Being a Patryn, his skin is tatooed by magic runes. And the dog is here cuz... well, he has a dog ;)

This picture was made with Alcohol Felt Pens - or markers (well, I translate it this way from french ;) and a little use of pastels for light effects. year 2002.

4 Dec 2003	BeBe	Loading... Yes, someone did a Haplo fanart! I really love it. I didn't imagine the tatoos that way, but everyone has their own interpretations, of course. DGC is one of the best fantasy series out there by the way, by both Weiss AND Hickman. I like how the tatoos seem to glow... And the dog! You haven't figured out what the dog was....? I can't really explain it or it would spoil things, but anyway, good picture!
