SciFi and Fantasy Art RoD - Desidio Streea (2000) by Maya R. Hirschman

This picture, which is riddled with problems (eye colour is wrong, spider brand is on the wrong arm, the crazy hand holding the goblet) but I still love it. Desidio, played by my boyfriend, was the Drow Nation (on RoD) first, as well as the army's general. He also is the father of Suliss. This picture was to commemorate him being wed to the Matron Caeliet. Yup, he got married in silk pants and nothing else. (Pencil, ink pen, coloured pencil.)

28 Oct 2002	Johan Bergström	Loading... Cool color and texture on the guy. Good 3/4 pose. When I mess up on something I take it to the computor - you could do that too. And after seeing his abs, I no longer feel ashamed I sometimes draws women with above average size breasts, hehe. Maya R. Hirschman replies: "I don't like doctoring my paper work on the computer. Sometimes I clean up inks and pencils, but this I prefer to live with the booboos. As for the abs... well, heh. I think they suit him. "

You do such a good job drawing Drow. Your pictures of them capture how evil they are so well. Miss seeing you around RoD too, Rhyl. Log more!! Maya R. 31 Mar 2003	Noa	Loading... nice pic. i like how the aura radiates more from his torso/head and fades as it gets lower. Gives the impression that the aura comes from his mind rather than just being a physical trait good job! Maya R. Hirschman replies: "The character, Desidio, is/was a very intelligent person, not just muscle. He rose to power in a female-dominated world by being smart and knowing how to play the game."

Hirschman replies: "It isn't so much that he's mutated or spidery, as favoured by the Spider Queen. It makes him about as untouchably important for a male as possible in his society."
