| 3 Feb 2004 | Steven MnMoorn | Dear M. “me” Edin
I browsed my gallery today and noticed your comment on the pages there, and was curious to see, and come perhaps a little to know, one to whom by so light a touch as the standing stone of my Elfwood Gallery could be inspired so greatly. You shimmer of innocent hope and joy, that much is very clear, though you stand now upon the brink of an awakening understanding of the worlds deepening shadow. Trust your heart and do not turn away into the ensnaring justifications of the fearful and uncertain mind. You speak of freedom, for in truth it is the light of life itself and should never be allowed to be blinded from our eye, but the world is dark and binding when the dreamer does not awaken. You cannot change the world, or the extent of existence that is your fate, but within, at the center there is a hidden star, an angle of light that is with you always, radiant and everlasting it whispers upon your inner ear in an unremembered tongue of The Thresholds of Eternity. Never turn from your art, no matter what the world tells you, for your art is your soul and should not be bartered lightly. And sweet M. you are already as “good” an artist is am I, for your heart is just as pure, and your effort just as honest. May the Muse of Truth guide your hand, always
