||I was going through a tiny pocket book about greek mythology, when I found a picture with this horse in it. I just fell so in love with it, even though the image was only a cuople of centimeters wide on both ways and in black and white. So I based this horse on that one in the art. The artists last name was Rubens. |
Nothing else in my image is from the art though. But I felt I should try to do some buildings, hence I'm so crappy with it...I'm sorry bout the perspective, it's really messed up! *grin* I had fun doing it though, took me about four or five hours I think...For the walls I used a textured pencil, and I really liked the result!
'Bout the story of the pic : I think it's locked up in some old monastery, with this little outside pasture to feel the sunlight and eat som grass in...
Now, I know some of you will complain about the wings and usually I do a lot bigger ones, but in this case I felt it suited the image better. So, sorry if you don't like it, but that's the way it is!
