An incredibly melodramatic title for such a simple drawing.  A commission for someone who found me on Elfwood; she was looking for a tattoo with a hatchling dragon just breaking out of its egg and doing something with its hands, like holding a crystal or something.  This is what I envisioned and this is how it turned out.  I'm pretty happy with it--it was with this picture that I finally figured out how to shade with pencil again, after having forgotten for about a year or so (it's all my watercolor's fault!).

very cute. I love your hatchlings. Dragons usually see the world through eyes that humans can’t fully understand. Yours look at the world with innocents, and curiosity. I love it. Adorable.
