Poor little fella just got dive-bombed by a hawk trying to steal his dinner (a Pilget's lesser rufous-winged quail dove, lower right), and it's starting to rain. Fun.

Yes, I realize the one back leg is a bit messed up. This was inspired by a clump of grass I saw while on a bike ride, and believe you me, clumps of grass don't have very inspiring anatomy.

The leg looks fine by the way, like he was cleaning off his foot or something when the rain started. : ) it is so adorable and I commend you (not commend really... it's more like worship)for your skill with the wacom tablet... 0o' i fail miserably with it.

Cause I know if I did it, it would have taken eons less time because I’m lazy and wouldn’t have taken even half the effort to do the superb job you did YAY!!! That shows how much better you are than me, Shut up! Don’t argue with me! But it’s raining on him! Inspired by all the rain we’ve been getting? wink wink Yeah, even the rain is good ~____^ At least poor Taysil still has his lunch.
