| 2 Mar 2004 | Ricky N. Barnett Jr. | Loading...Hey, I stumbled into your DS story by a random Mod's choice jump. I tell you the truth, I wasn't gonna erad it cause it was so long, But then I saw that you got Mod's on both your first and second DS parts and I thought "This story has to be awesome!" But I had to get off, so I saved it to favorites. I stumbled in on it again today, and read the first part. This is a great story! I read it through just waiting to see what happened next! I haven't read the prologue (didn't see it in time.)or the second one yet, but beleive me I will. Its Poeple like you who make the ticket queues so long! But I must say Thanks! This peice Is awesome! Go ahead and post the rest of your work! I know I'll come back and read it when I get the time. oh, sometimes if you post on another writers page they will come visit yours. You might try that out if you want more traffic through here. Mitul Mistry replies: "Yeah, I'm trying... It's just so hard to find time, that's all. Really... ah well, I suppose I'll just have to make time, eh? Thanks for reading and commenting. Do stop by again soon " | |

| 15 Apr 2004 | Jamie A. Hughes | Loading...Like all things in life, you gotta give something to get something. Honestly, most of the traffic I get on my site comes my way through comments that I leave on other folks' pages. People see you can leave thoughtful, detailed, constructive criticism and they want to see what you have to offer. If you can read at least a few random stories a day and leave good comments, not just random thoughts or things like "this needs development," or "this is cliche" people will come to you. It's like building a reputation in a workplace, you have to earn it. It is hard, but eventually it is a joy to watch other people's stories develop with your help. Be kind, honest, and precise and folks will flock to you. For example, I've come to see you because of a comment you left on my page! Mitul Mistry replies: "I know, I've been heavily trying. Time constraints are a major pain, however... I barely get any time to write, let alone read. I do always give my honest opinion, and I believe I thought the title to be cliche, not the story. I could be right, I could be wrong. I'm just saying I think the story is deserving of a title a little more thought-provoking. I have a tendency to be purposefully vague when giving an opinion about an especially, or at least relatively good story. The thought being, "it's not my story, it's yours." But anyhow, I really didn't have a massive amount to offer on your story. I just didn't. And I'm sorry if you felt that my comments were "random." " | |
