SciFi and Fantasy Art Drow Moon by Mike ´LoboLoco´ Garcia

I did this pic while at a convention back in 1991 in Dallas, Texas. It's my first and only attempt at a Dark Elf. I really don't know much about them other than the dark skin and white hair...but I think they're cool. I put up the original in an art show at another convention in Houston in '93 and it sold to a local gaming group who wanted to use it for the cover of their gaming 'zine.

I used pencil and ebony pencil for this one.

I don't really like the legs though.Thanks...and I agree, I don't really like the legs either, but it was a qucik sketch at a convention while strung out on caffine and pizza. I'll probably revive this character with my improved skills.(can't belive it's been 10 years...wow)
22 Feb 2002	Site guest	Loading... really nice, well shaded ... stands out from the other drow pictures as the background is totally right for the model. nice work! although I would make his legs a bit stronger, esp in the knee area. in a fight my first move would be to take him down by breaking his knee(s).
23 Feb 2002	Rachel D. Flesher	Loading... For someone that claimed not to know too much about the ilythiiri {grr sorry, obsessed maniac of drow. Knows a good deal about them too}, this is so.. well words can't describe this picture though around his knees does kinda put the picture off until you go down that far..but the moon and upper half of him draws that away. Exceptionally well down..
