Michael My formal art education did not begin until I was 16 years old when I had two years of mechanical and architectural drawing. From 1971-1976 I studied various form of linear design, light and shade, composition and other aspects of fine art. From 1976 to the 90's I traveled through the southwest to do art shows, approached galleries and had several painting reproduced as lithographs for poster distribution. From 1983 to 2011 I purposely produced paintings for my Perceptions book.
 
 
 

I grew up in upstate New York. Art was my major activity all my life. I have done all forms of imagery but my personal interests are fantasy and surreal fantasy. I have two books to my credit, one is: "The Art of Visualizing Black & White" and the other is: "The Perceptions of Michael Csontos" My personal website is www.michaelcsontos.com where I have over 200 images of fantasy art and surrealism and commercial art assignments.

Interests
Nature and artwork. I occasionally do woodworking as a diversion.
