"Arborean" by Mika Dove

Picture two of the firefae forest series. I'm hoping to have either three or five total. Once again, a blend of photographs and digital painting, of reality and fantasy.

This spirit's dominion is high above the ground, in the trees. His touch causes leaves to unfold from buds in the spring and shift to sunset shades of red and gold in the fall. He is very fond of birds, and will spend hours gazing in fascination at them.

His paws are like a gecko's, allowing him to easily cling to the sides of the trees. His wings are too small allow him to fly, but they do help him extend his jump just enough to leap from trunk to trunk. His color is green, as you can see from he firefae in his paw.
