This is one of my fav piccies. I drew it quite a while ago, and yet i still love him ^_^. His name is Lyrn. In his tribe, when you defeat a great beast, it is a custom to get a tattoe of it, to show your fighting skills. It was done in colored pencil, with a few slight tweaks in photoshop (removing a stain in the corner, adding ocean spray, etc.)  Yes, all those white lines on his arms are scars (he is a great warrior, after all!)

his eyes are great. he sort of gazes at the watcher and captures him. his lips are formed to a tiny grin and that gives me the impression that he’s up to something. heard in the south-water there is a new beastie, with horrible teeth and golden scales. that would be a nice trophy and tatoo wouldn’t it?
