This is a character I played on an online game. A little black dragon from the Fire clan, he was rather mischievous and hyperactive. For this sketch I used a velociraptor toy as a model, hence the slight dinosaur-like appearance. (Pencil)

very nicely drawn. It looks a little angular - it might look more realistic if the angles were smoothed - unless of course it was your intention for it to be angular! But hey, i'm just being picky. Its a nice drawing.

:-) Milla Lindqvist replies: "Thanks! I wasn't going for angluar, in fact I'm thinking of going back and doing a colored version of this and I'll try to make it smoother."

Wow, This is a really neat idea for a creature!

:-) Milla Lindqvist replies: "Thanks, though the credit for first putting me on the track of winged raptors goes to my friend Katie ^_^"

It does remind me of the deinonychus photos I've seen in my dinosaur zines (^^;;..), only more winged! XD I like it!

:-) Milla Lindqvist replies: "Thanks. Got to love dinosaurs right? They are one of the neatest things outside of SF!"

I like who uve handled perspective on this one.. One lil critisism tho, his right (our left) arm looks wrong. The other one looks great, and the way the hind legs dont look like they start right after the ears makes me jealous plus u gave it wings that van put super pig to shame!

:-) Milla Lindqvist replies: "Thanks...it's drawn very carefully from a model, is why it's even close to looking like a raptor... Super pig??"

He hee heee *bites and is bitten back* perspective on the tail. his wing looks like it's on his shoulder though; I think it would be in the middle of his back.

:-) Milla Lindqvist replies: "*Apocalypse chases Linda off the island, singing her hat ^_^ * ...Naw, wings come out of the shoulders on birds and stuff. Not like Derek's dragon with the wings coming out of the neck 10"

Wow! Great picture! Wonderful job on the perspective and shading *hugs*

1 Milla Lindqvist replies: "Yay! Thank you. This is one of my oldest pictures, considering how unskilled I was back then I'm surprised it holds up so well!"

I draw a deamon called Apocalypse, she has fur though, big ears, you know she's completely different to your drawing.
