This last year's entry in the chalk art festival, which won nothing and was washed away the next day by the bank it was on the sidewalk in front of. This is a bad scan because it's a magnet the Allied Arts made of it, none of my photos came out well.

For some reason, this picture makes me sad, but thats why I love it, all the emotion it comes with. Great job!

BEAUTIFUL work with the colour blending! Very eye catching...!

Lovly body and head on this dragon, and the backround is pretty darn nice too, but. . . well the wings are far to abstract. Granted, abstract rocks, but the wings don't fit in with the rest of the dragon! Whats more, because of the lack of shading on the wings, its SO hard to see the folding of the right wing, and one has to use pure line direction to identify that (doh!) Still though, a great picture, next time your city has a festival like that tell me, I'm in seattle also and I would love to come up and see some TALENTED people drawing on the side walks instead of the normal hoodlums (actualy, seattle has some damn talented taggers, some of which are so good that you don't really mind them painting of the old ugly walls, heh2

Thank you, actually if I could do it again I'd want to put more detail on all four feet as well as the wings, because I felt they came out a little goofy looking. I can see your point about the fold in the wing, but I'll have to think about how to shade that and still not break the sky idea. I appreciate the constructive criticism. ;-> I've just moved all the way across the country now, but I seem to recall the chalk art festival being sometime around mid-August. I could always check with people back there if you're really interested...

I love this one! I think the shading and blending is grand, I like the darker colors. I have abit of trouble with the bottom half, however. It confuses me abit.

The red head fading to blue body is great, the lower half being green i dont like tho. should've stuck to blue
