The winter has been a pretty wet one and I've been getting a little tired of all the rain, lol.  And since I know I can't control the weather, I decided to make my little wish come true with my little rain dancer!  Yay, haha.  Her radiant and magical dance chases all the dark evil rain clouds away. :)  Each gentle step and sweep of her skirt sends warm winds out to our dreary and rainy winter as she calls forth the cheerful rays of our beloved sun!  Yesss.......sadly....it has still been raining...but I can still dream.  :D  The warm and sunny weather will come our way soon...but it's so...far...away.  But I'm still happy, haha.

This was painted as a Christmas gift for my parents and I used a ballet dancer as a model for the pose.  Painted in Photoshop.  Here's a close up on the woman:

Beautiful! I love the almost monochromatic look! It looks very much like a day that was rainy and dark but the sun is breaking through. I love the swirls of light about her body and dress. The background almost looks like trees. I also like the drops of water (?); they are fantastic! They look like they are real.
