It's icy BLUE! *loves blue* Umm...yeah, well this picture was made to be a Neverwinter Nights portrait but I decided I wanted to upload it into Elfwood as well. The base image was originally a simple rendered image of a female my sister made on a demo version of 4d cinema. So from that image, I generally just used the pose and painted everything over from scratch. The original image itself mainly helped me as a reference for the shadows on the skin. And I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of painting hair...but I think I kinda overdid the background with the magic orbs and mist...but I'm extremely happy with the pic, overall. Oh, and I decided to name this pic after my NWN character, who was a monk/barbarian/rogue. But this turned out looking more like a spellcaster than a m/b/r. And on the side note -- the glowing tattoo on her face says 'power.' I used the WP MathExtended A text to type it out...just thought it looked interesting. 0_o

I wouldve been tempted to get it to give some of it's light to the surroundings, but what you've done is just right, it makes it stand out more. Nice composition too... smacks hand for using the word nice

I love this style--luminous, a bit surrealistic in the lighting, but realistic in the anatomy, and extremely 3-D. And the BACKGROUND!!! Sorry. Ranting. Grin

The background gives me a sort of nostalgic feel -- but that's just me, I doubt it does the same to anyone else. And when pictures make me feel nostalgic, you know they're impeccable...
