| 23 Apr 2006 | Chris M Le Sueur | Loading...These are all great. The only bad thing is that sometimes the backgrounds end up looking too photoshopped, since they're less sketchy and more blurred. However, the loose style really suits the scenes you've drawn, and your skill is well... expressed, even if its not a "classic" method. Mark A. Orr Jr replies: "Thanks again for all the kind words, I do try to keep the backgrounds softer usually, but I don't use the blur tool, I think it's just a side effect of only having a mouse to work with as opposed to a tablet. I don't like to make excuses though, so it's an area I will focus on improving. Thanks again" | |
| 25 Apr 2006 | Richard R. Flores | Loading...Very nicely done. Might I be able to commision you to do a picture for my story in the Wyvern's Library? Mark A. Orr Jr replies: "Thanks for the complement, but as much as I'd like to, I am just swamped with work and things at home. Perhaps later on I could. Thanks again for asking though, its always good to here other people not only like but want to use my art." | |
| 13 Jun 2006 | L. Orr | Loading...Thank you for the wonderful Art! Just wondering if you are native american? Awesome that there are orr's out there so talented! Mark A. Orr Jr replies: "Thanks for the compliments. I do have a slight amount of Native American, but a lot of Irish and Norwegian. I don't find to many Orr's out there." | |
| 1 Jul 2006 | Brandi Nelson | Loading...I love how you can even make it apear that you put love into your art (if you do that is, even if not you can lead people to think otherwise lol) but you make such beautiful figures and the picture just seems a cage for those stories to get out! Well in other words (heh) i like your fays ! (hah...I end things oh so well...Maybe thats why i dont end anything!) Mark A. Orr Jr replies: "Thank you very much. Yes, I do put a lot of love and emotion into my artwork. Even my darker images I try to convey something from the heart. I will try to have new pieces up soon, but I've been very busy with Family and Work. I never stop drawing though. Thanks again." | |
