Tag As FavoriteComment		Some people, fairies included, just have to stick up for themselves. No matter what the size of the opponent may be. I just thought the contrast of scale worked well with the contrast of pen and ink. I used the glow of the fairy to help me create a a focal point on the two.

I love the idea of this picture, as the whole picture of course. The expression of the dragon is priceless between annoyed, disbelieving and a bit concerned of what this little creature has to tell. Not exactly what I wanted to say but for the time being I don't find anything better. Great work and a well deserved mod's choice.

Did the fae revolt against the dragon or did the dragon revolt against the fae.I like the way it fades to darkness.

:-) Mark A. Orr Jr replies: "Thats the fun part of the picture, it's all in how you interpret it. You can look at it from either way. I personally like the Fae against the Dragon, you know the whole David vs Goliath thing."
