The story is...well, raw and dark. The poems probably aren't much better, except for the Ballad of Auralee. New story already up is Shifting Sand, massive changes to Changed (mwuaha, that pun is just corny), second part to Wer is up and dedicated to Cec, and other miscellaneous things are scattered about my page. Just so you know. NOW.....I SHALL READ!!!!!! A. Artemis Heart replies: "Liari how cruelly you taunt me with mentions of your writing. I shall go and make an attempt to read. Gotta love the corny puns...how else would we get free popcorny! (Beat that corny pun!)" | |
| 17 Jun 2005 | C. 'Liari' Seidel | Loading...You have updated! This means that we shall not have to kick you in the shins...for a while. I have also updated, and as soon as I get home I promise to come and read so that I can follow the story! And then maybe you will also come and read? *BIG BLUE baby eyes* A. Artemis Heart replies: "Updated I have. Wizard (I'm reading Lord of the Flies)! No more kickage! I am going to update as much as possible. I must visit your library, Liari. I keep telling myself that I will and I fail repeatedly. I will get there in good time (I hope), but homework is my daily preventive therapy for the enjoyment of stories...stupid school board prescriptions!" | |

| 19 Jun 2005 | Tim 'Maul' Schein | Loading...Ello! Two weeks till mah school holidays! How are you enjoying your summer break? Just outta curiousity Arty, how old buzzactly are you? A. Artemis Heart replies: "Hey Tim. I live in Canada so I'm not enjoying my summer break -- I've ten days until I can do so, actually. As a matter of fact school ends the same day I joined Elfwood (June 29th)! SQUEE! -happiness- I am fourteen and freakily enough my birthday is exactly four months after the date I joined Elfwood." | |
| 25 Jun 2005 | Tim 'Maul' Schein | Loading...Wow, not what I expected! I thought you were older than me! You finish school on the same day as my grandma's birth. She's seventy years young on Wednesday. Canada is supposed to be really awesome. So you've been writing a lot lately? Two updates in a row, wow, top stuff! A. Artemis Heart replies: "Why does everyone think I'm old...? What is it about me?!? Now that I have finished going insane...the 29th (especially the 29th of June) holds so much importance. The day I joined Elfwood<3, the last day of school (w007), your grandmother's birthday...it's rather uncanny. Canada is quite awesome (though I'm a little biased)...our current government is wimpy, though embroiled in scandal (the opposition, however, is either freakily cheerful or Bush-alikes). But otherwise Canada r0x0r5, methinks. I have been writing quite a bit since I'm not under quite as much stress. I wish I could remain that prolific forever...Thanks for the comment, Tim!" | |
| 25 Jun 2005 | Alinta Brown | Loading...Hi Atremis, I have two new 'were' stories on my page that I would love for you to look at if you have the time. A. Artemis Heart replies: "Ooh...will go check those out ASAP." | |
| 6 Jul 2005 | Lalie R. Roque | Loading...you have an amazing talent for fantasy writing, which I wish I had. I normally stay within the boundaries of vampires, but I've just recently began writing my first fantasy story. It seems to be going well, but I dunno. Anyway, I have the same problems as you (punctuation is the enemy). And I will say the only pieces I have ever finished are those I truly cared about and put myself into. So, don't worry about not finishing anything. When the write piece comes along, you'll finish it! A. Artemis Heart replies: "Thank you. Congratulations on writing your first fantasy story, though I daresay vampires qualify as fantasy. I quite like the bloodsucking fellows meself, truth be told, though I've yet to write a [good (or complete)] story about them. Yes! Punctuation is the enemy and one day writers such as ourselves shall rise up against it! -shudder- Come to think of it, I'd rather not. So many people have done so already (whilst rising up against spelling, proper grammar, and proper English in general) and it has proven to be a very bad thing -- almost brought me to tears once. I do worry about not finishing anything, though. There are -voice turns to a whisper- shin-kickers about these woods and some of them kicked me (right out of Writer's Block, actually), but it wasn't a pretty sight. -shudder- -voice goes back to normal- Anywhosit, I do hope that is true or else I'm d00m3d. Yesh. Thanks for the comment, I shall drop by your library eventually [I'm a slow (and sometimes lazy) person]. Thanks again for the comment! It was quite unexpected! Today has been the absolute best! HAPPINESS ENSUES!" | |
| 25 Jul 2005 | Bianca ´Bia´ Tangermann | Loading...Hi Artemis! I've only read your "Song of the Siren" for now (your answer to my comment frikkin cracked_me_up XD) but if the rest of your works are as good, then I'll be jumping on 'em quite soon! *randomly claps for Song of the Siren* A. Artemis Heart replies: "My comments tend to amuse or frighten people; I'm glad it was the former in your case. My mom has become enough accustomed to my reaction that she simply tells me to turn the crazy down a notch and that is my slightly-random-detail of the day. I hope that my other works might be equal in your estimation to 'Song of the Siren'. Thank you so much for your delightful comments! I love the word delightful. I don't use it enough. -skips merrily away-" | |
| 23 Sep 2005 | Ray Arquette | Loading...'Lo! Thought I'd come by and say hello, on my random insomniac spree through the 'woods. I keep meaning to ask, oh fellow Canuck, whereabouts are you? ...oh, and I've a ticket in queue. Be delighted if you came by and gave it a look in a few days. A. Artemis Heart replies: "Okay, I'm finally back (after an absence that was far too long) and I will definitely take a look at your library, Ray. Oh, and I live in southern Ontario. I think maybe southwestern, but I forget sometimes..." | |
