I am always trying to improve. But for myself, it is hard to take a transparent paint, and make it strong and dark. From looking at this scan, it seems as though you used regular paper? (Please correct me if I am wrong) Trust me, buying some good heavy watercolor paper makes all the difference in the world. It won't shrivel up and wave from the moisture of the water, and you'll have better control over the pigments. Overall, I think you did a good job here. You've got some great potential. Lily Shu replies: "actually, I'm not sure what paper I used. it was some kind of drawing paper so it was thicker than regular paper but it wasn't specifically for watercolor. and it would probably help if I had real watercolors wouldn't it? thanks for commenting"

It is a good pic, and i still like it, i've never not liked your work, but this isnt one of ur best. But for this attempt with something as hard as water colors, it is a pretty good pic.
