Sam, I stumbled across this page and I think it's made my month. I've always loved looking at your artwork, and now I seem to have stumbled across a hidden grove where it grows freely! I hope life is treating you well and never let your pen dry up.

:-) Samuel John Morrell replies: "Yes it is quite nice to have a place were my art can be seen by many a people, elfwood is definatly a nice site"

Hmmm... Where to begin? I was first drawn to your cities and I especially like the shell home.
Some of your pieces are such a jumbled mess at first glance, then the subtle attributes start sneaking into the mind - nice touch, that is.
You seem to have such a mesh of sci-fi/fantasy that in most pieces, there is no definition between the two, they are joined as one, which I found very interesting.
I can't define your work as "beautiful" - I would say tis more thought provoking, as it shocks the system into looking deeper, instead of "oh, isn't that pretty" - and moving on. Your lines are sometimes messy, but they scream with an intensity that begs for more exploration.
I enjoyed your "out of the box" gallery very much. Thank you for sharing your work.

:-) Samuel John Morrell replies: "Wow I am very pleased that you enjoy my work and I do try to have more of a feeling in my work then again some time every once and a while it's nice to do something pretty, and ya it's interesting that you were drawn to the city pictures I don't know theres something urban and raw that I like about lots of structures, any way thanks for the comment"

Your gallery makes me think you're completely insane. But in a good way. I can't say I like all your drawings but there's defenitely a big lot of interesting and original ideas and concepts in there that made it worth my while to check your gallery out. Keep up the great work!

:-) Samuel John Morrell replies: "Geee thanks any way my art is tame compared to many others "

I am mightily impressed. Apart from the obvious fact that you have a vast imagination and a knack for intricate details, there's also a great deal of diversity in your gallery. I like that. Artists who draw only one or two different things bore me to no end, even if their technique is superb. In your gallery I've seen humour, sinister-ness , emotive qualities, darkness, technical cleverness and plenty besides. This has been a very worthwhile visit.

1 Samuel John Morrell replies: "well thank you I too like great diversity in the Galleries, besides it gives me more of a challange, and it has been my pleasure to make your visit worthwhile have a great day! "

Man are you in a dark mood or something.
Because almost all the pictures seems so dark and heavy.
I really like theme but the dark thing follows in almost all of theme.
Keep up because they are so damn good.

RÄNDÅM
