Mette O. Madsen replies: "The human eye can see more gray tones then any other color, making black and white pictures more intense in our eyes. I guess thats another reason (excuse?) for not using much colors in my art, but im working on some pics with a bit more colors."

Hi there, thanks for visiting my page. You have some interesting pictures here with a style I don’t see much of. If I can offer any tips, it would be to slow down and spend some time coloring. I know how colored pencils seem to color at their own (slow) pace, but if that’s going to be your preferred medium, your pictures would look that much better. Try rubbing with your fingers or with an eraser.

Mette O. Madsen replies: "Thank you for your advise. The pictures you see is my first colored drawings, im still working on how to get better at it. At times i like that youre able to see that its been painted, and other times i just want to rip my hair out for not getting it right."
