SciFi and Fantasy Art Queen of Pentacles by Brenda Mousseau

Fourth in my Tarot card series. I wanted to do a backview of a kneeling woman so you can see the obi and the back of the hairdo - something you don't see often outside of Japan. Colors are soft and romantic. The character on the back of her kimono is 'kin', meaning money, or gold. I wanted the picture to have a bit of a surreal look with the peacock showing through the obi. This is the most simple painting in the series, and all four are meant to go together, not stand alone.
