Take my advice! Never write in a story that someone is wearing a black satin shirt when you already know that you have to draw it one day! This shirt took quite a couple of my nerves and it still don't looks like I want it to be.

Wow, I can't believe only two people have commented on this piece, everyone must be on vacation! I think this should get a mods choice! Her facial expression is wonderful, the shading on their faces agrees perfectly with the angulation of their heads. I love it. Great job, come visit my gallery sometime, I'd love some tips....I'd also like to know how you go about putting your images in color on photoshop....because mine never turn out nearly as good, and help I can get would be awesome! 1

It looks like a blue satin shirt 1. love the pose, and her dress. These things look very natural.

This is beautiful..The colours and textures are so well done esp the clothing..His silk shirt is brilliant...Done exactly as light should hit it. Im in awe. The backround is wonderful i love the tones.

This is a beautiful picture. It would be amazing if you did a picture of her, showing the whole dress. 2

:-) Manuela P. Forst replies: "Well, yes, the dress ... I planned to do the whole, showing the dress and her legs. But I could not get his trousers look pretty in any way, so I cut the picture. As for the cover it will get a frame to have place for titel and these things, I think it was not the worst I could do."

I LOVE her dress! It's the first thing that caught my eye. I love their poses, especially the angle of her face, it's very well done. And I just like the general sparkliness and romancey-ness of it. Great pic!

Amazing. Simply amazing! I love his shirt, although it looks more blue than black. If you want it to lok blacker, you should use more shadows than highlights. Just a suggestion. I loathe shading black clothing...but I try it often. ^_^ I LOVE her dress too! It's a very sweet, realistic piccy! Now if only I could get my bf to re-enact some of the romance scenes I see on Elfwood...excuse me while I track him down! great job! *runs toward dustin at full speed with a rope in one hand and a net in the other* HAAAAAHHHH!

12 Manuela P. Forst replies: "Thanks for the hint. I'll try next time."

she kind of looks like Juliet lewis. But i love the way she is looking at him. Almost questioning but not afraid of him. I feel she can handle herself. The square set in his jaw suggests a challenge to me. Such a soft and romantic title but i think theres more fire in this relationship than the setting and colours suggest. Its a beautiful piece.
