You're too harsh with yourself. Her stomach doesn't look concave, tough she DOES look muscular and slim waisted and using a REALLY tight fitting mini skirt. The "round" end of the belly would be somewhat under the skirt, so, you could add it with shadows if you'd like to. The leg plates... is there truly a pattern for them? I've seem both patterns possible in live action "real" armor, so it can be done this way. If it's the most "defensible" way... guess not, but most fantasy armor isn't pretty much defensible also. Filters were made to be used, and you made the armors look like metal. It's not so easy as it seems, to do that. Her petulant nose is just right, she seems to be so sure of herself and just a little bit snobbish.

On the other way, I do agree with you that his nose is strange. It looks too thin for me, even for an anime character. And the background is too dark for all that shine in their armors. Also, a little bit of his right leg should be showing from behind her (by the position of his left leg, he's standing with his legs slightly open, while she's thinner and is with her legs closed).

But I've loved the way they look harsh and yet seem to be holding hands away from the viewer.

Oooh, and a P.S:
It's true that the amour does have bit much of a shine to it considering the darkness of the pic: However: The armour could be enchanted, or made of an extreamly reflective metal (Mithril, comes to mind) and as of the nose: it's a in the breeding. (According to my art teacher I'm out proportion because my legs and arms are too long for my torso, my face is also out of proportion because my nose is too small for my lips ( I told her something VERY impolite in response)) Everyone is different and if we all followed the "normal proportions" we'd be boring.
