SciFi and Fantasy Art Whisper on the Breeze by ´V3SS´ M. Raquel

We were seperated. I searched, but his scent ended at the seacliff. Scouts have reported that he was taken prisoner and dragged aboard a large ship. They sailed across the ocean and no doubt have docked into enemy territory. The ninja birds have never crossed the sea. They can not follow. There is no way to send word. There is no way to know if he's still alive.

The sun stretches wide over him while the night sky blankets our land. The wind sweeps inland and whispers his name this eve, and with it a way to reach him.

A concept sketch quickly done in marker and enhanced in photoshop. No real thought has gone into this sketch, but I like what came out so I thought I'd upload it here. FYI: they are not what they seem to be.

23 Feb 2003	Melime	Loading... Gorgeous...glad I saved looking at it til last (that way it'll stick in my mind) The colors are wonderful..vibrant and pleasing. The flow definately gives it a windy effect. Big congrats on Mod's Choice. As for "they are not what they seem" does this mean their appearance or their connection (like lovers, siblings etc.)? Oh one last thing...the excerpt at the top...is there more somewhere? 'V3SS' M. Raquel replies: "Hello MelimeI'm glad the sketch pleases. As far as finding more literature on them, I'm afraid I have no link to send you. Its all a part of a comic I "want" to do. I'm just lacking inspiration and time to work on it. However, when I go get it up and running, I'll post an update in my gallery. Thank you for showing an interest in the story. Oh-and I cant quite tell you what they are, but I can tell you that they arent elves. "
