I like rats. I like faeries. It was only fitting.

Also, drawing the rat as a faerie gives me a chance to showcase this series here on Elfwood.

Inspired by the sickeningly cute artwork of Misti Hope Wudtke and another artist by the name of Naifae on Deviant Art, I started my own series of really really cute critters. Since I'm partial to rats, that's what I'm drawing.

These are smaller drawings (size 6" by 8") and can be completed quickly so I'm able to get more of my ideas onto paper. I'm selling them as prints and donating any money I make to a local rat rescue. For more info on this visit this link: www.midwintermagicart.com/ratrescue

this pic is cute! the way you draw your rats is adorible, and the Faery wings add to the cuteness of the pic. great job!
