Of all the dragons in D&D, my favorite is the Gold. This was originally going to be just a picture of a gold dragon. But then these little black birds showed up and demanded to be included. There are these trees around my apartment that during a certain time of year, at sunrise and sunset, are full of Grackles who gather to sing and whistle and trill until the tree itself seems alive. So here we have a gold dragon enjoying the music (or noise, depending on how you look at it) of the Grackles.

That is an enormous dragon! And a gorgeous one. I love the bright colours and the birds on the foreground. Great work.

I love grackels, they’re so unusual with their keel shaped tail. They look a bit like the chough’s we have down in Australia.
