Tag As FavoriteComment		Wow finally able to upload some new stuff...okay. This is a picture I did sort of as a character study, also for the portion of my website where I break down how I create my artwork. For this one, I decided to use my spirit self (half of her anyway), which is basically a winged elf/faerie whose wings look like a red-tailed hawk. I wanted to convey how love (represented here by the roses) can be most hurtful when you have allowed yourself to become vulnerable to it. The thorns are the "biting" side of love.

Beautiful 1 I love the rose, and most of all, the wings. And I don't think that the arm is too big, I always thought that such arms are much more feminine that too thin ones. Greet work.

I like her hair and the way she looks over her shoulder. Nice to see some thought put into art, many drawings are just ‘Hey look at my kewl character, isn’t he/she awesome’, so I like the symbolism with the roses. But aren’t her arm a little big, it looks wider then her face?
