By the way, someone probly answered this for you already, but if they didnt.... A drow is a race that lives undergroud (thus named the underdark)and they're not soposed to be blue but... the drow have black skin and white hair and are classefied as dark elves. Which, is more than true as they have tendency to be very, erm, evil. If you want more, read the forgotten Realms books. They've got a few on the Underdark.

I was just looking at drow pictures and saw you question about what drow are. Well, basically they are a subterranium elf that is the opposite of surface elves. They live in cities like Menzoberran( i don't know if i spelled that right)in great underground caverns.Their race is almost totally evil and are constantlly killing one another to get higher up on the social ladder. Females dominate the race and almost all of them worship Loth ,the queen of spiders, to whom they routinely sacrafice males to. Drow are divided into families or Houses and to rise in power they eliminate the "House" above them on the ladder. They are evil race with few exceptions like Drizzt and Liriel.(Main characters in some Forgotten Realms books. From the pictures you know what they look like but just in case, they have elbony skin, generally, red eyes, and white hair. hope that helped, bye.
