Tag As FavoriteComment		I heard a name at the San Diego Comic Con last July and I'm glad I heard it. The name was Andrew Loomis. He's an artist from the 50's and he's extremely good. That and his books were awesome figure drawing tools. They're espensive though so I'm lucky I came across a battered copy of a figure drawing book online. It's improved my stuff a lot. It's taught me how to use reference better and has given me a better grasp of form. I hope my new pictures show this.

I aboslutely love this. There is a lot of depth, and a lot of detail, and the shadowing is fantastic. Keep up the great work. Nice job on the feet as well.

The wings are amazing! I have such a hard time with shading - you sure don't, lol. However, I think that the perspective, even though it was a good idea, was a little overdone. Cuz her knees are up to her chest, and her hands are on her knees. If I sat like that, then my feet would be on the ground with the back of my feet touching my thighs. So she must have really long lower legs, I guess 10. Now, the hands and feet are incredible! They're just a little bit out of proportion to each other.
I'm nitpicking, of course, this is a really beautiful pic. ^_^

:-) Werner Mueck replies: "You could be right, I try to pay attention to things like that nowadays. If I want to draw something nice, I try to spend more time blocking it out and getting the proportions right (or better anyway)."

This is very nice. I can draw hands, and heads, and wings, but not attached to a human body. lol your too good. She looks kind of like h'e posing for a picture, though. I wouldn't have made her expression quite so pouty.

Love it, I couldn’t draw feet like that if the world depended on it. And it’s best in black and white, colour I think would only deduct from it.
