I'm rather drawn towards blue and silver tones. However, I'm thinking of coloring this drawing a second time and giving her red hair and maybe multi-colored wings. What do you think?

I really like it...The wings are wonderful, so detailed!
As for trying it with red hair and multicolored wings - I too have a weakness for blue and silver. However, I think you should give it a shot - if nothing else it's good experience!
