Miriah Bruce

I am a 25 year old Wiccan with a penchant for different styles and a severe phobia of drawing backgrounds.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. The only art classes I have had were in high school; the art teachers I had wanted you to do art their way, so I dropped the classes.

I am inspired by things I see every day, though the fantasy world also appeals greatly to me. I can't draw a straight line, even with a ruler. It inevitably is crooked. *sobs* And clothing mystifies me, so I do mostly nudes and portraits,

though I do occaisionally try to draw clothes. I have a fascination with drawing eyes, my notebooks are covered with doodled eyes.

I do alot of photomanipulations and despite some peoples low opinions of them, they do take alot of effort and patience as well as being able to remember to save often (Which I still have a problem with)

Nice gallery, and you are right, photo manip's do take a lot of work! You have a very distinctive style. Don't worry about having eyes all over your sketch books, mines have always been like that. The eyes can convey so much in a drawing. I would love to see you do some work from a live model, you'd be amazed how that can affect the level of your work! Keep it up, you have talent!
