"Dragon" by Allison Engel

Wow not bad , my dragons dont look that good . Im new to elfwood and I dont know how to get my pics into the dragon gallery , can anyone tell me how ??? Please ??

that is sooooooooo good! im writing a book and im doing my own illustrations(hopefully!),so im trying to find some good pics to get ideas

I like the face-- the bill is well-formed, as are the horns. The pink spines are also a nice touch-- they bring out the bright yellows and greens of the body.

However, I must point out that the right wing is sticking out of the side of the fellow’s neck, in what has got to be a very painful position. They are excelently formed, just out of position. Also, although I applaud you for an obvious attempt to not draw the dragon’s head in profile, the spines down the forehead which should give that impression are not centered. They are flush with the base of the right-side horn, making the dragon look a little wop-sided.

im sorry, but you have obviously copied the dragon paint by number available at wal-mart, took off the arms, changed some face figures and shortened the tail. ive been an artist for over 30 yeaars and ive seen it many times.
