SciFi and Fantasy Art The Machine by Myke Amend

This is from a series of lovecraftian and vernian strange fiction fantasy pieces, all of which featuring airships and outerworldy/otherworldly creatures.

The first was done for Robert Brown of Abney Park, the second was done for Vernian Process, this - the third of the paintings from this series is done as a commission for a private buyer.

This one features a fantasy-styled airship amidst a sky occupied mostly by a, perhaps alien, craft. The craft is marked and engraved in enochian sigils and angel script, and seems to have been hovering here for ages. It was painted for the cover of Vernian Process' "Behold the Machine"
