This is my first original novel/book/story/whatever you wanna call it. I wrote it to go along with my pictures, well actually I drew Blade and Gala and the other people and creatures from here as an inspirational thing. So this is what started it all. I hope you enjoy it. I'll put it up here in chapters in at a time if someone asks me to do so. Enjoy. PLEASE COMMENT!

The evening drew cold and dark as Blade rode to Lord Doane's castle on his black, muscularly defined stallion. Doane's final words were still ringing loudly in his ears, like the screams of Lelia and the other townspeople. Their cries made it seem as though the demons tore not only at their bodies, but at their souls as well, ripping them from existence and keeping them from ever finding true, perminent peace. Doane had taken Lelia and sent her to his castle. Then he turned to Blade, still and terrified on the ground, watching as two demons took to flight carrying Lelia with them. Others tore at the townspeople that remained, leaving very few alive. Doane had stood, and only stood over Blade in victory, soaking it all in. He pressed the tip of his sword into Blade's neck, but only enough to draw a little blood, no any farther, yet not retreating, either. It had seemed as though he wanted to enjoy, devour Blade's death. Blade wanted to die so badly, to be decapitated or run through at the heart, where the pain seemed to radiate from in his failure to protect his people. It really was his fault, but he hadn't been prepared for the fight with demons. No one had. Blade closed his eyes, awaiting his eminent death like any true fighting warrior would do, but he had been more surprised, even more terrified by what did happen. Lord Doane simply spoke a few words, pulled his sword into its sheath, and then mounted his horse and rode away.
"Come to my castle, Ogden, in the valley of Goherda. There will you understand the mysteries in your mind, including those that are of the Legends of Adger. Your powers will increase far beyond your imagination, and you... shall become as my... partner. Besides, you'll want to get her, will you not? I suggest you come, I know you will. Until then... Blade."
-That's what he said to me before riding away. Strange, how he mentioned the legends and could manage to harness the power of demons. How could he know the answers?- Blade thought to himself.
There was only one way to find out. Blade would need to gird his horse and ride off, leaving the flames behind. Right now, though, he needed rest, and didn't want to look back.

But why didn't Blade kill the bastard when his back was turned?? why o why??

:-) Josh 'Boo Boo' Walls replies: "Two reasons: One, he was on the ground and accepted defeat because he expected to die, meaning he was unarmed. Two, if I had Blade kill Doane then, you wouldn't have much of a story to read... right? Lol. I think about that all the time."

Oh come on! why no more comments? this is a fabulous start! a little over-described, maby, but I'm guilty of the same thing. I look forward to reading the rest!

:-) Josh 'Boo Boo' Walls replies: "It's rather funny that you should say that it is over described a little, because this is the rough draft version I am posting, considering I haven't finished it yet. Lol. Soon, I'll have the whole thing up and revise it to the best it'll get!"

Very enjoyable...very entertaining. I really liked the character of Blade. I felt sorry for him and can't wait to check out the rest. Keep it up.

:-) Josh 'Boo Boo' Walls replies: "Thank you VERY much. I like him, too. Just to think, he kinda "popped" into my head one day.."
