  | This is a commision I finished earlier this year for the speculative sci-fi/fantasy e-zine Separate Worlds. The fantasy fey has traded places with the sci-fi soldier; she flies above his high-tech world while he flies above her fantasy one so in effect they have crossed over into each other's "separate worlds". They are using their respective weapons to form an energy nimbus, a sort of lasso meant to enclose text on the e-zine covers, etc. The top of the fey's staff and the decal on the soldier's suit are my client's website logo. Hand drawn and inked on bristol. Digitally coloured using GIMP and Inkscape. The e-zine's website can be found at speculativefictionstories.com |
