| 1 Sep 2000 | Natalie L. Goodridge | Loading...Hmmm, it's interesting. I always pictured them to have more of a lizardlike face. Yanno, a longer snout. But I don't exactly remember how Goodkind described them. | |

| 22 Mar 2002 | Telor | Loading...I am interested in what the yabree would look like; as well as the cape. The animal pelts that are constantly referred to would not be a bad idea either. I am looking forward to further artwork. Also, I don´t believe that the yabree are knives in the conventional sense; but that they are more like the knives used in certain Arabic nations Kenneth D. Nadack replies: "I have a idea of the yabree which I will draw sometime, but the cape is just your average everyday "makes you invisible" cape ^_^ Since I don't do backgrounds too well yet, I can't show anyone the cool picture I have in my head for something like that...yet" | |
| 15 Jul 2002 | Anonymous | Loading...This picture is very close to what i imagined.... But i imagined it lipless, as terry describes. | |
| 23 Jan 2003 | Amy Renée Hanna | Loading...I just finished the Sword of Truth series, and have done a couple of sketches myself, including the Hrulgin. (The carnivorous horse that had a bit part in the first book). I never pictured the mriswith having longer snouts... I pictured them a lot more like this in my head. ^_~ You should do a full-body pic with the cloak and yabree. Kenneth D. Nadack replies: "Thanks for the comment, and I do have plans on drawing a full mriswith in the future. And this is how they are described in the book....since they are made from humans they wouldn't have a snout ^_^ See, I'm not going crazy =D" | |
| 30 Nov 2003 | Jordan | Loading...Nice pic! I am all for the no-snout thing since they are former wizards...(explained in the 2nd or 3rd book)I would definately like to see a full-bodied one! | |
| 20 Jun 2006 | Anonymous | Loading...Weren't hrulgin in the belgariad series, not the sword of truth? Correct me if i'm wrong but i can't remember them being in there. Kenneth D. Nadack replies: "hrulgin? belgariad??? This is a mriswith, from Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series!" | |
