I'm sure you think I'm picking on you, but actually, I'm telling you the truth--you won't hear it from very many on Elfwood. People here will tell you "OOOO! First comment dance! I love your art! <3" because this place is a mutual admiration society, which is the last thing you need if you actually plan on becoming an illustrator. The last thing you need it to sit back and be told how great you are--you're not! You're going to have to improve A LOT if you're going to become a professional.
Nobody cares about you're beliefs--which you mention every two and a half seconds! Get over it, and get over yourself! You come off as having a tremendous ego! NOBODY CARES!

Here are the facts. You need to study drawing. You need to practice... a hell of a lot! I don't want to hear whining about your being unemployed, skip a meal and buy one decent pencil. Learn to shade with it. Learn how to deliniate your shapes, so things don't blur together. Stop being so LAZY--you're not blind and your a nudist, so you've got no excuse not to know anatomy! Learn to draw people in proportion, forgodsake! Especially practice... well, everything really, but mostly feet, ankles, legs, hands, upper arms and heads.

Here's a clue: when you have to write a novella about the picture, it's not exactly speaking for itself is it?

I doubt you'll listen to any of this. You'll continue write off critism as trolling and continue on through life as a arrogant, unemployed illustrator.

Your taste in Ursala Vernon's work is absolutly incredable and I completely agree with you! Yet again you are truely a man of art.I ask you to do more pictures of ladies and more mythical creatures to get a feal for some of your work! Your taste in books is the exactly the same as mine I love Harry Potter by J.K Rowlings shes awesome!

Those people do not know what art is and your art is truly unique and we my associate and I were thinking about hiring you. You are a one of a kind artist and I think your work has meaning in it even if others do not understand it and it scares them. You are truly a man of art! I understand their words may have been hurtful but sticks and stones may break my bones and words can never hurt me as a wise woman said to me once.
