This is a poem about the beauty that is the Unicorn. This is my first poem on Elfwood!! I hope you all like it!!

The Unicorn

Standing before such a beautiful and powerful creature
Staring into shining brown eyes
Breathing in the beautiful, musty scent of ancient magic
This creature stands before me like I stand before it.
So like a beast on the outside
So deep and true on the inside
Eyes filled with the knowledge of the ancients
This creature who is as old as time
The bringer of magic, the unicorn

28 Dec 2004	B. Layne Weaver	Loading... "the musty scent of ancient magic" I like that line I usually don't go for unicorn themed stuff, but this was one that I enjoyed. As I read, I could almost imagine what it would be like to stand before a unicorn. Would time slow to a halt? Well, for this to get me to wonder about such things is quite a compliment to your poem! does first comment dance on crowded dance floor until she realizes everyone is looking at her... slowly realizes that she forgot to untuck her skirt from her underwear after the last trip to the bathroom Nancy Kelaria Chamberlain replies: "Wow! Thank you!! I'm really glad you liked it! ^_^giggles and dances too wheee!"

Even if you didn't finish of Kyla's Gift.... Nancy Kelaria Chamberlain replies: "hmm... I think this poem is actually older than Kyla's Gift I just never posted it... lol"
